Challenge the status quo and change the game - Here is my story!

Growing up ...

I was consistently working when growing up, even at a young age focused on always providing a service and value back to to others. We lived close to a golf course, there were a couple holes that had wooded gullies. Golfers would hit their balls into the woods and were "lost". My best friend and I (we have been best friends since kindergarten and still are) would take plastic grocery bags and find the lost golf balls. We would then clean the golf balls with the ball washers already setup on the hole tee boxes, setup a table, and resell the golf balls to golfers. We tested selling both before and after the hole with the gullies. Great business and time! I was always looking forward to working. Weeding, washing cars, mowing, cleaning my friends rooms, and anything where I could provide a service to somebody else. Little did I know this was only the start - focused on providing a service back to others.

Learning over the years ...

As I grew older, I watched my parents run and operate multiple small businesses. They had a coffee shop, a lawn care company, and also a startup technology solutions company. I always had that business operations side and enjoyed working in those, knowing that one day I would build my own. I worked multiple jobs at once, a lot of the times it was to learn and be part of different businesses, learning how they run and operated. Always have enjoyed work and learning. Then life started going at hyper speed - college, married, kids and starting a career. Its crazy how fast it goes and how easy it was to settle into the comfort zone of what we are advise to do for the next 40 years. My dream to build my own business kept getting pushed back by life and every other excuse I came up with. I would work extra hours at work, unpaid, because I enjoyed what I was doing.

How things work and started coming together ...

I'm very blessed and thankful for all the steps over the course of my career. Started in retail at Costco, great company and people. Still miss working there, but after I graduated college, moved on, and took a leadership position at our local hospital in supply chain. Absolutely loved my team, we made a lot of changes and kept challenging the status quo. It came a to a point where my impact was becoming less and it was time for a change in leadership. Was presented an opportunity for a supply chain consulting role, on the technology side, helping other hospitals with their ERP systems. We do system implementations, optimizations, and assessments. My favorite part is both training and providing a solution for a customers problem. This was way out of my comfort zone and not the easy path, but I have grown and continue to enjoy what I do!

My path continues to build, focused on the service and operation side of the business. Absolutely love providing a solution and filling a need for our customers. I understand the importance of the bigger picture and getting to the why of doing things. I'm focused on the behind the scenes, making a difference and getting it done.

It is amazing when you take the time to think about your journey in life, where you have been and what you have experienced. This is what is building you for the next run, you just need to take the step outside the comfort zone and make it happen. We need to all challenge the status quo of what normal and average is. Working together we can do big things! Starting to come together, focused on providing value to others with my passion, through faith, mindset, and grind.

When I started listening - it changed the game!

My default has always been get a second job, about every 2 years would find myself doing that. Great! Took care of the short term need but with little value added back to others and zero long term anything. It was time to shake things up, get out of the comfort zone, use what I know to build something great for the future. I need to set example for my kids and building the upcoming generational of wealth for the next run.

When I started learning about online marketing, diving into affiliate marketing and digital marketing, it started to change. It is a crazy world and has actually been around for decades. It really clicked when I took a course that I could relate to and it hit hard. Embracing social media, empowering the AI tools is something that we are need to do and learn. This course not only made me better in my current career but helped me open the doors to add value and reach others. The reach of social media, SEO on google, emailing and more is wild. Way more than I could ever imagine!

We are all in on building generational wealth - Let's Go!

As a dad of 4 kids, we are focused as a family, to challenge the status quo. We are focused on becoming an entrepreneurial family, the skills that will come from learning marketing and sales, will help the kids throughout their life. We need to set the example for our kids, and all of the next generation. That starts with us learning a new skill, not taught in traditional schools. Then going out and applying what we have learned with action. Build it!

Focused on generational wealth but not just in assets. We need to pass down knowledge and resources, this will be a key part to helping the next generation. My mission and value add service is focused on getting the message delivered about building an online marketing business and I'm helping guide and bridge the gap. Such a simple business model, with the ability to reach and add value to others with what you know and believe in. I have faith that most everybody can get into this, creating their own digital product, course or promoting a brand that they know. The generational wealth handoff starts with us ...
